WELCOME TO MUST’S ENGLISH CLUB

         Recognizing that English commanding ability is so vital for professors and lecturers to achieve their goals in terms of doing research, going overseas for study, attending international conferences and promoting international cooperative activities, we, School of Civil engineering and Architecture (SCEA), has successfully initiated a voluntary forum “MUST ENGLISH FORUM ON ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES” under support of the KOICA.

         The Forum meeting is held two times a week, at 5:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday of every week at E-13 of the Central library of MUST. The Forum meeting consists of two parts; First short presentation with specific topic is made by a scheduled presenter, then hot and active discussions followed by the Forum members participated. We are excited to invite you to become one of our Forum members.

         The Forum performance implemented so far- described in the table below – demonstrates how actively the Forum participants was interacted among themselves during the meeting and how much the Forum has been beneficial to themselves in terms of improving not only their English skills, but also communication skills, as well as extending their circle of acquaintances.

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES: LANDLOCKED DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

   The November seminar was held at 4 pm on Friday, 1st of Dec, 2017 in Room 203, Main building 1, MUST. The invited speaker was Ms Blanka Caletkova from UNDP.

She talked about the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITTLLDC) and its activities in Mongolia. The ITTLLDC serves as an institution for landlocked countries and the advocacy for their issues, such as trade, infrastructure and etc.
